Mexico’s Tax Administration Service (SAT) has introduced two new online platforms to support taxpayers in meeting their fiscal obligations. These tools, available for fiscal year 2025 onwards, aim to streamline processes and save time.

Provisional or final tax paymentsThe first platform targets individuals under the Business and Professional Activities and Leasing regimes. This tool allows users to file provisional or final ISR and VAT returns with preloaded data, such as:
Issued and received CFDIs.
Payroll information.
Carryforward of previous fiscal losses.
Provisional payments from prior months.
This initiative ensures simpler and more accurate tax filing.
Informative Declaration of Transactions with Third Parties (DIOT)The second platform is for individuals and entities required to file the DIOT, a declaration reporting VAT-related transactions with suppliers.
Key benefits of this tool include:
Batch uploads for large datasets.
Manual entry for smaller operations.
Ability to manage over 40,000 records.
Instant acknowledgment of receipt.
Both platforms are user-friendly and designed to facilitate timely compliance.
With these efforts, SAT reaffirms its commitment to modernizing tax processes, simplifying obligations, and encouraging compliance for the benefit of all taxpayers. And if you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact the experts at Cadena Avisors.
